Dads Inc. (incarcerated)
Dads Inc. is a six session parenting program for fathers who are incarcerated at Middle River Regional Jail. The main objective is to inform and encourage incarcerated fathers to continue to parent while apart from their children. Topics covered include the important roles fathers play in their children’s development, the effects of a father’s incarceration on his children and other family members, how and why to maintain appropriate contact with his children, healthy/unhealthy relationships, co-parenting, legal issues, and reunification with the family upon release.
Moms Inc. (incarcerated)
Moms Inc. is a 9 session parenting program for mothers who are incarcerated at Middle River Regional Jail. The main objective is to inform and encourage incarcerated mothers to continue to parent while apart from their children. Topics covered include the effects of a mothers’s incarceration on her children and other family members, how and why to maintain appropriate contact with her child, healthy/unhealthy relationships, co-parenting strategies, legal issues, and reunification with the family upon release.
