Youth Corps

Youth Corps is a pre-employment training program that provides valuable job training through service learning and community workplace settings. Students earn a total of $100 in stipends throughout the program.

How it Works

During Stage One, students attend an orientation, three service learning projects, and an educational group. Participants will earn a $30 stipend for successful completion of Stage One. During Stage Two, participants focus on putting their new skills into practice through hands-on workplace experience. Students will earn a $70 stipend after successfully working 24 hours at their job placement.

To be selected, youth must complete an application and have a formal interview with OOY staff. Referred youth are given preference for enrollment.
