How it Works
In order to be eligible for participation in the program, students must be: disabled, economically disadvantaged, part of a family receiving public assistance, a foster child, or homeless. Others not meeting one of these criteria may contact the office to see if they qualify.
Who Should Participate
Youth ages 16 to 21 who are no longer in school and want assistance with securing permanent employment and/or obtaining a GED. This program is offered in Augusta, Bath, Highland, and Rockbridge counties and the cities of Buena Vista, Lexington, Staunton, and Waynesboro.
This program is administered through the local Workforce Investment Board with funding from the Workforce Investment Act.
