Youth Advocacy

Q: What does it mean to be a youth advocate?

A: It means sharing your thoughts and opinions on things, letting others know what you like, don’t like, and would like to change. (There’s no actual microphone or loud speaker required and absolutely no judgment- only appreciation for your ideas!)

The Office on Youth is in the beginning stages of developing a Youth Advocacy program in the Staunton, Augusta, and Waynesboro areas.

Would you like to share your thoughts about things like health education, education in general, alcohol and tobacco, etc.? We’re interested in hearing from you.  Please fill out the form below and someone will be in contact with you.
