The Central Shenandoah Valley Office on Youth has been working in the field of teen pregnancy prevention since 1995 with positive results. The Teen Pregnancy Divison of the OOY strives to prevent teen pregnancies and risky behaviors among youth through a variety of programming that educates teens, parents, and the community about the emotional, physical, and financial risks and responsibilities of sexual activity and parenthood. The main goal of these programs is to promote the postponement of initial sex and to discontinue voluntary sexual intercourse until marriage.
Office on Youth Teen Pregnancy Prevention programs are made possible, in part, by generous financial support from the United Way of Greater Augusta, the Augusta Health Foundation, and the donations of persons like you.
