1. Call the Pathway Office, directly, at 942-6522 or call the Central Shenandoah Valley Office on Youth at 942-6757 or 332-2806.
You will need to provide the following information to an Office on Youth employee:
- Child’s name
- Parent/Guardian’s name
- Contact telephone number for parent/guardian
- Home school
- Grade
- Length of suspension
- Reason for suspension
2. If you are unable to reach someone at the above telephone numbers to pre-register your child, you, another family member or friend can bring your child directly to one of two locations the first morning of their suspension.
In Waynesboro, registration occurs at the Pathway site, located in the Rosenwald Recreation Center at 413 Port Republic Road, Waynesboro, VA. They must be registered between 8:30 and 8:45 am and picked up at 1:30 pm (Monday – Thursday) and 12:00 pm (Friday).
In Staunton, registration occurs at the Office on Youth, Nelson Street Teen Center at 900 Nelson Street, Staunton, VA (go to the back of the building). They must be registered between 8:00 and 8:15 am and picked up at 2:00 pm (Monday – Thursday) and 12:30 pm (Friday).
You, another family member or friend will need to provide the following information to an Office on Youth employee:

- Contact telephone number for parent/guardian
- Home school
- Grade
- Length of suspension
- Reason for suspension
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
Have your son or daughter bring a bagged lunch, snacks and drink. Lunches are NOT provided. A refrigerator and microwave are available for your child to use.
Pathway staff will contact your child’s home school to obtain academic work for your child to complete while at Pathway. If the school does not provide academic work, your child may be asked to participate in community service projects during their time at Pathway.
