In addition to working with youth, the Central Shenandoah Valley Office on Youth recognizes the importance of families in the lives of youth. To address the needs of families in our community, the OOY created its first ever full time position dedicated to parenting services. Judith Schrauder joined our staff in September 2006 as Parenting Coordinator. The hiring of a full time Parenting Coordinator has resulted in serving many more families in our community. The OOY serves over two hundred parents each year.
